Restaurante Albacora (Valencia) Review

Restaurante Albacora in the Marina of Valencia, Spain, is a hidden gem that is tricky to get to if the pedestrian bridge isn’t open. But it is so worth it!!

We started off with ‘Carpaccio de Gambas’ which is a seafood version carpaccio with fresh flavours beautifully presented – and some homemade bread. ‘Crujente de espárragos’ was a treat – heavenly asparagus served hot in a crispy phyllo pastry.
For mains our choices were corvino fish with cumin ratatouille and tender Iberian pork cheeks. Instead of the chocolate cake we both opted for a passion fruit sorbet dessert. All washed down with a full-bodied bottle of Spanish Ribera Del Duero (Protos 9 Meses).

If you’re ever in Valencia, don’t forget to visit this fine establishment. Spanish style the restaurant only opens for dinner at 21:00 but late night dining on the water’s edge is always a treat.
And the service and staff were amazing too!! 💫🏆👌
