It’s no secret that Australia has a fantastic pub culture, but the challenge to finding the best pub in Australia lies in what you want for the time that you want it. This is why I keep finding myself returning to this gem.
The Royal Oak is that place where you can find a busy lunch time crowd or a quieter terrace spot to slowly sip on a sparkling or champagne. Today I indulged in a crisp Riesling by Claymore Wines and I had a dozen natural oysters. Though their Sunday Roasts and traditional pub grub won’t leave you hungry.
A good all rounder that has an excellent wine list, great pub food and chill relaxing Sunday music.
Oh, and to add to the charm; the quirky barman who will dish out sass and unsolicited banter if provoked …..or not!
